Sampaloc is a district in Manila, popularly referred to as Manila's University belt.

Colleges and universities abound here. Shown here are National University in Jhocson St., Centro Escolar University and San Beda College in Mendiola Along Figueras St is the Archdiocesan Shrine of Our Lady of Loreto, also known as Sampaloc Church.
