Ceres buses are probably the most popular and well known filipino buses used when traveling around islands. We have seen many ceres buses on majority of islands we go on, and are our comfortable bus of choice as they can be airconditioned and have tv.

The price for the journey from carles to iloilo city was around 210 pesos per person and takes around 3 hours. On arriving at iloilo city we headed for our night of luxury at bearland resort which is around 30 mins drive out of iloilo city.

Bearland is a perfect resort to spend some time with its infinity pool and a additional pool for the younger kids. Also it is located on the beach so you can go to the sand and sea if you prefer.

Locals can pay a fee and spend the day here with access to the pool area to. Bearland has a swim up bar that also sells food, with stalls in the water that you can sit and eat at.

While we was here we met some locals who we made friends with and spoke to for a while, you cant be how friendly filipinos are. it was a perfect end to a travel day and we wish we was able to spend a bit more time there at bearland iloilo.
