Von Masbate City nach Balud zum Palani Beach

Today we are leaving masbate city and heading to a area called balud at the west side of the island.

Balud is known for its pristine beaches and its beach front bungalows which just look the best. The trip from masbate to balud took around 1 hour 30 minutes by minivan, the roads are quite bumpy all the way so if you suffer from motion sickness take a tablet ready. We ended up over paying a little to go directly to our accommodation but it was just easier to do that for 1 less problem.

Accommodation is balud / palani is fairly expensive at 1200 pesos per night going up to around 1600 pesos per night, this may just be to tourists it could be cheaper for locals.

palani area of balud is perfect for relaxing with a perfect beach just outside your room.

There are no accommodations on agoda in palani / balud so be prepared to use facebook to speak to accommodations
