Faszinierende Mangroven in Siargao

Today was a day full of surprises in Siargao, Philippines!! After we found out Sugba Lagoon was closed for renovation, we went into our day not sure where it would lead us. On our way north to watch the sunset at a warf mangrove, we stopped at a local cock fight. It was a really fun and unique local experience that we were so glad we stumbled upon.

We asked a local man if it would be possible to go out on his boat through the mangroves to watch the sunset and he was kind enough to take us out on the water. He even took us to the island he lives on nearby which is home to 500 other Filipinos. The sunset blew our expectations out of the of water and our day turned out to be amazing. 🙂
