Insel Ticao und Leuchtkäfer

Today we are leaving palani and heading to ticao island which is also in masbate. Ticao has fire flys and whale sharks and also manta rays.

To get from palani to Ticao island you must get a van back to masbate city, then head to the fish port to get the boat going to Lagundi port in south ticao. From lagundi you can get a bus or van up to san jacinto which is the main town on the island. San jacinto is central to everywere and the main hub to get around from.

On ticao island we stayed at ticao island resort which is one of the best resorts in masbate. Ticao island resort offer fire fly tours, island hopping, diving certification and horse riding, you can also hire habal habals here to take you were you want to go.

We are really happy to be in ticao island and looking forward to exploring more of masbate island which is fast becoming one of our favorite provinces in Philippines along with iloilo.
