Mit einem Wasserbüffel-Carabao über und durch den Fluß

The Carabao is the national animal of the Philippines and it is simply beautiful.

peaceful animals are strong, and confident. You wouldn’t believe the connection that locals build with this animals, especially farmers who work in the fields with them.

One day in Jimenez, Misamis Occidental I stumbled upon Manong and his Carabao. I just wanted to teach my friend Dagul (Arron from Britain) a little bit about these animals, and give him an experience he would never forget! I talked with Manong who assured me the Carabao was strong enough, and we went for a short ride.

Always respect these beautiful animals… I was so excited to try a river crossing 🙂
