We visit Batan in beautiful Batanes!

Exploring Basco, Ivana and all of the surroundings – North and South tour.

Where we slept: At Nanay Cita’s homestay. A lovely woman and a lovely homestay! Definitely recommended, also for the budget traveler.

Where we ate: I love Cafe du Tukon near La Funcation Pacita. It is a bit expensive, but the views are amazing! Go for some fresh fish, it’s amazing. Also take a look at Honesty Coffee Shop – you’ll visit this in your south tour. Where no one will take your order, they just trust you to pay the right amount in the donations box. How cool is that!

Favorite place: Vayang Rolling hills and Marlboro Country. Can you tell I’m a nature lover? 😉 But also the Batan / Basco (naidi) lighthouse is nice to see. Especially when it’s dark and the stars take over! At an island as safe as this one, you can do some serious stargazing, even as a girl alone. Also Valugan Boulder Beach is amazing when you visit early morning. Ask your guide to take you here first!
