Bantay Dagat BOARDWALK Bayabas – Cagayan de Oro City

The barangay Bayabas, in Cagayan de Oro City also has a BANTAY DAGAT group. They have built a BOARDWALK out of bamboo into the sea, where at the end there are some platforms with four huts and a ladder into the water. These can be rented.

On the beach, the members are currently building the new fish port for Bayabas. Years ago I once saw some skim boarders here on the beach, but on this day, a Friday, none of them were to be seen.

There are several small beach resorts here and in the city of Cagayan de Oro, Raagas Beach is particularly well known.
